Jake has been a leader in the insurance industry since 2007 and founded Senior Health Medicare Benefit Strategies with business partner Kevin Tunison in 2013. Not only is Jake a licensed Medicare advisor, but he also has an extensive background in IT, working for Ford Motor Company back in the day, and is Senior Health Medicare's chief technology officer. Jake's preference to work more with people drove him to change fields, and he has since loved every moment of it. His unique and innovative methods to connect with individuals and educate those about Medicare has become something of a marvel. Jake engineered the breakdown of the complicated Medicare process and presents it in a user-friendly and easy to understand format for seniors.
Together with his business partner, Jake has built a strong foundation for Senior Health Medicare Benefit Strategies. Both he and his team of expert advisors have gained industry-wide respect. When not at work, Jake enjoys spending time with his family and traveling the world.
In 2013, Kevin founded Senior Health Medicare Benefit Strategies with business partner Jake DuBois. Together, they grew the company to include a vast team of Medicare expert advisors and account specialists. Kevin excels in breaking down and educating others about the Medicare world, helping retirees understand their health care options, and making the best, informed choices. As a regular presenter to large groups and broadcasting live on t.v., radio and podcasts - Kevin is a true professional in the field.
A marine corps veteran, Kevin knows the importance of helping clients with integrity. He is a born leader and mentor to all who know him. Kevin strategically developed Senior Health Medicare Benefit Strategies under the premise of serving versus selling. Although no longer active in the business, his methods and ideas are still widely used.
Director of Call Center Sales
Nick's experience in banking and financial services allows him to quickly assess your specific personal financial goals and make the absolute best recommendations. His professional background includes being a Licensed Personal Banker, Banking Center Manager, and Director of Corporate Accounts.
Nick earned degrees in Economics and International Finance from Northwood University and graduated with Mises Scholar honors. Nick is a flagship member of the Boxing Autism Club of Livingston County. Founded by his wife Holly, it is a non-profit organization that provides support to parents and caregivers of children on the Autism Spectrum. He enjoys spending most of his free time with his family and doing outdoor activities such as cross-country skiing and boating. Nick looks forward to helping you navigate through the ever-changing and complex world of Medicare.
Director of Licensing & Contracting/Executive Administrative Assistant
Alyssa is the Director of Licensing & Contracting for our advisors as well as our Executive Administrative Assistant. She has been a leader in our company for well over 6 years! She is very experienced in customer service and is some of the essential glue that holds us together. Whenever any of our agents or admins have a question, it's understood that Alyssa is the woman to speak to! She is an expert in guiding our customers through the application process, she keeps us all organized and on our toes.
When Alyssa isn't at work she enjoys spending time with friends & family, watching her baby boy learn & grow, traveling and wandering the great outdoors.
Liam has been in the Insurance industry for over 12 years and is one of the first members to contribute his expertise to our organization. He has immersed himself in the belief of our organizations' work ethic to help guide our company to success. Communication is the foundation on which Liam bases his success with his clients, and as a result he has been able to create a comfortable work environment for both clients and colleagues alike.
Liam loves spending his time with his family and friends and enjoys an occasional Guinness from time to time. Liam shares in our company's belief of ensuring that the customer knows that we are always looking out for their best interest when it comes to their Medicare decisions.
Jim St. John
Jim's 20 years of experience as a successful health and wellness business owner greatly contribute to his ability to assist anyone with their optimal healthcare recommendation. Clarity and proper communication are of utmost importance when selecting healthcare plans, and Jim patiently educates you throughout your decision. Over 8 years of customer care, personal training, and business coaching allow Jim to uniquely connect with you to achieve your desired goals.
While attending Olivet University in Chicago, Jim majored in communications with a baseball scholarship. He now enjoys spending most of his time with his wonderful wife Debbie and their four children as well as a daily routine of reading and exercise. Jim will guide you into a clear understanding of your Medicare choices and help you to make quality decisions for your future.
Rod has been serving clients for over 39 years in Life, Health, Commercial, Home, and Auto Insurance as an independent agent a/k/a Marlow & Associates.
Rod's years in the insurance industry have given him a wealth of knowledge and experience that allows him to give clients the best insurance tailored to their needs for the most affordable price. Through building a relationship of trust with his clients, he has been given the opportunity to make a living doing what he loves. Rod continually expands his level of expertise to further enhance and broaden that relationship.
At an age where some people retire, Rod isn't even close! He loves working with clients in an industry that offers opportunities for tailoring, flexibility, and expansion as it continues to change and grow to meet clients' needs.

Robert is a veteran of the United States Navy. He served during the September 11th attacks, Operation Enduring Freedom, and Operation Iraqi Freedom. After fulfilling his contractual obligations with the Navy, he returned home to Ypsilanti, MI and started a career in the trucking industry. After 13 years in the industry and being promoted to Operations Manager, he chose to switch career paths and begin applying his customer care skills in the Medicare Supplement Industry. He now applies the core values taught to him in the United States Navy of Honor, Courage, and Commitment to his customer care in the Medicare Supplement field.
Christina is the Recruiting Manager & Trainer here at Senior Health Medicare, as well as an Administrative Assistant for our advisors. She has years of experience in the industry; having worked several years in auto/home insurance to help clients navigate the confusing world of personal insurance coverages. She has 19+ years of experience in customer service and is completely dedicated to educating clients on their options & ensuring they are enrolled in the best plan for their individual situation.
When Christina isn't working she loves spending time with her husband & 3 children, she's an avid gardener, loves playing card games & enjoys spending as much time outside as she can!
Matthew is a Medicare Advisor here at Senior Health Medicare, relatively new to the industry; however, what he lacks in experience he makes up for with a thirst for knowledge, unbreakable integrity & fierce determination to do what's best for his clients. Since he started, Matt has hit the ground running & aggressively sought out to educate clients about their Medicare coverage and build long-lasting relationships. He understands the value of trust, teamwork & honesty; being a 'team player' his whole life has made his transition to the Medicare industry illustrious & successful.
When Matt is not working he enjoys relaxing with his family & friends. As a former athlete, he is also an enthusiastic sports fan & loves watching his favorite teams compete!
Shavon has been licensed in the Medicare field for over 8 years. She is customer service centered and uses her 12 years of customer service experience to guide each client. She has worn many hats in her life; she worked in Road construction for 2 years, studied Hospitality Management at Eastern Michigan University and has also worked in the beauty industry. Medicare has proven to be her passion, she takes her position seriously and makes every effort to ensure that our customers feel secure and comfortable and know that they will be well taken care of.
Shavon is the loving mother of one young adult and 3 teenagers, so she knows the value of having a sense of humor.
Nik has worked extensively in customer service and customer relations in a variety of fields which has given him a deeper perspective on client needs and expectations. His personable and relatable approach is bolstered by a diverse working experience ranging from property management, information technology, account management and with a passion for success as a Medicare agent, this allows him to connect with clients from all walks of life. He strives to make clients feel valued and to help make Medicare as straightforward and as accessible as possible for everyone.
Marketing & Communications Coordinator
With a background in archaeological fieldwork and fresh out of graduate school, Ariel joined the Senior Health Medicare team as an Administrative Assistant in 2019. Her passion for research and education helped her to quickly master Medicare and excel at solving our clients' most complicated questions! Her aptitude for hunting down information and translating complicated Medicare jargon into something easy to understand makes her the perfect person to head up our Marketing department. She brings a fresh approach and open mind to connecting existing and potential clients alike with the crucial knowledge they need to make educated decisions about their Medicare.
When she's not strategizing our next advertising campaign, she enjoys playing with her dog, tending to her houseplant collection, and knitting socks for her partner.
